This place is highly unprofessional. It was the worst dental experience of my life, and I used to genuinely enjoy going to the dentist. I immediately regretted coming here and wish I could go back in time. The dentist is extremely rude and condescending, and she tries to convince you that you have cavities or need unnecessary work just to make more money even when your teeth are perfectly healthy. I would strongly recommend staying away.

I had two teeth extracted, and the entire procedure was much easier than I expected, even though I was very nervous about the whole ordeal. Dr. Hazany’s certainty and confidence in his skills helped put me at ease and gave me a positive outlook. Follow-up appointments were scheduled right away, and we discussed the implant procedure, including the time frame and financing options. I am very pleased with the service and would highly recommend Dr. Robert Hazany’s office to others.

I was in here not to long ago and had the WORST experience ever. The front lady named Janet is just plain rude. She spoke down to me like I didn't know anything and then I noticed she spoke the same way to the staff. I don't know if she's the manager there or something but the way she was trying to order those poor girls that work there around was just plain crazy. She withheld information and then turned around and didn't even give me the correct payment detail until after the treatment was done and after I straight up asked her before hand. Things got really busy for a while and instead of getting up to help she just sat there. To me it looked like she was pretending to look busy so she didn't have to get off her butt. In my opinion that woman is very unprofessional and needs to take classes on human decency. Emma and a few of the other girls in the back though are awesome. Emma was very sweet and explained step by step what would be done and helped me when I was anxious. If this is the type of treatment I can expect there I'm not going back and have already asked my insurance for a different dr.

I have been to many dentists throughout my lifetime, and West Los Angeles Dentistry is an enigma and hidden gem. The dentist (Dr. Vendi in my case), provided a genuine level of care and kind service, with professionalism, and superior quality work, with kindness and sensitivity, that is admirable. I initially had the wrong date and time on my first appt, and instead of embarrassing me or sending me away, they made an adjustment since it was noon (and worked through their lunch hour-who does this in CA?). Next appt. I had three cavities, but wanted a cleaning also, and instead of having to make another appointment, they (as in Dr. Vandi), exceptionally cleaned my teeth while numbed me up waiting for the fillings. Again, who does this in W. LA? Dr. Vandi, instead of robotic moves and demeanor, is refreshing to watch - how he treats his staff and assistants (Emily), who works in tandem providing painless, progressive and professional service as a dentist team. Finally, Janet greets you like an old friend coming through the door, whether you're dressed in Versace or Velcro. Her smile is imbued with good vibes, sincere heart, and unbelievable administrative acumen, no matter what your circumstances. In a world of increasing apathy, or services ultra friendly based largely on your pocketbook, Westside Dental Services, is a welcome sign and sigh of relief that there are still businesses (because of the people) that genuinely care about their patients, look forward to their return, and have no vested interest other than providing the best level of dental care...because they do.
