Playa Vista Dental Care

My first time at this office today and I had a wonderful experience (well as wonderful as a tooth extraction can be). The fantastic front end got me in within an hour of my calling with an emergency. The receptionists, the assistants and the doctor couldn’t have been kinder, friendlier or more professional. I was very nervous and they made me feel at ease. So grateful!

A few months ago, I made Playa Vista Dental Care my primary dentist and I don’t regret that decision one bit. From the moment I walked in, the receptionists, Beatrice and Rosie, made me feel right at home. Dr. Chamberlain, Dr. Levi and their staff are the utmost professionals, attentive and kind, and reassured me that everything would be fine, which doesn’t make me dread dentist visits as much anymore.

One would never think going to a dental office for the first time for a consult will be an exhilarating experience. From the moment I called the day before, to coming in to check in for the appointment, working with the nurse, to seeing the doctor, I felt good and actually enjoyed the whole process. Everyone was so nice and caring. Doctor Levi made me feel so comfortable and at ease considering I have to take care of several dental issues. I look forward to coming back and take care of all my dental needs. I would also like to mention that the entire clinic is so nicely put together.

Wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. They remember their clients by name and you feel very much treated as an individual with expert care. Linda was very thorough, communicative and helpful related both to my teeth care and ideas for my young son’s Christmas gifts. Dr Levi, as always, makes you feel very at ease as he explains things to watch out for and where and how he can provide the best ongoing care.

They double booked 2 people at once .. so the dentist said he can’t take my exam because I can’t open my mouth so big. I said I can if he tells me too but he said it’s fine, but he can’t do the exam and come back in a week after I finish my antibiotics. He went to do another cleaning for another patient immediately after. They told me prior to coming in that X-rays , exam, and dental cleaning is $295. They took X-rays but there wasn’t a dentist able to look at them and there was no cleaning. Beatrice told me it will be $195 for taking the X-rays that no one even looked at. So without exam and cleaning they still want to charge 195. I said no, and she got aggressive saying these are Dr. Levi’s fees. I said I will wait to speak the doctor and he asked her if she can do anything about the cost she said no. Then she said I can go somewhere else if I don’t like their fees. The doctor said, ok she’s suggesting that we wouldn’t charge you and we can end our relationship because you are unsatisfied. I said ok and left.
