I WAS SCAMMED BY MID-WILSHIRE DENTAL LAST FRIDAY, WHILE WORKING!!!!! Do NOT schedule any type of appointment with Mid-Wilshire Dental, or ANY of there sister dental clinics. They are SCAMMERS, and WILL take your money and STILL charge you for more before they ever do your service. They sent 1 of there associates out to SOLICIT AT MY JOB for promotional Teeth Whitening deals that they DO NOT EVEN OFFER. Thomas, UNPROFESSIONALLY, came into my job RIGHT BEFORE CLOSING, passed the foyer WITHOUT permission, sat in EMPLOYEE seating WITHOUT permission, when NO MANAGEMENT was available and I was the ONLY person on the floor and servicing a client, FLIRTED WITH said client FOR TEN MINUTES and THEN took advantage of the fact that I sincerely wanted the service as a birthday present to myself, BUT was working and, at the time, indisposed! Thomas finally explains what he ACTUALLY walked inside to solicit. I was excited to try a promotional service; I’m 25, and I had been wanting for a while to try having my teeth whitened professionally. After being told about the promotion, I was specifically told MULTIPLE times that I would ONLY be paying the promotional price. I literally was unavailable to send the payment at that time because I was, at that time, AT WORK. The solicitor, THOMAS, quite literally picked up my phone and sent the promotional payment HIMSELF, without my consent. Then once I asked, he proceeded to tell me, that I would be expected to pay ANOTHER $250 BEFORE being serviced… They only offer forms of payment that makes it HARDER to receive your money back in situations like this. When I called the front desk to make my complaints, and to TRY to get my money back before moving forward with my bank, the ladies in office as Front Desk Associates will played stupid and rude with me about my VALID complaints, wasted my TIME and hard earned money. Be careful with this place! After telling me twice via telephone that the office could do a minor fix to my wire retainer at no cost, when I took off work and showed up to the appointment they said it would be $200. They then magically reduced that to $120. Be careful with the undisclosed costs here! Seems scam-y so I’ll go elsewhere

I just got the best cleaning from Manny! He gave me a pre-rinse before we started. (Never had that before). Then did a gum check. (Also never haf that before. Most hygienist just start the cleaning.) Explained what he noticed during the gum check. Had the treatment coordinator come over with two options based on his recommendations. (We selected one that would target what I needed most.) He gave me one of the most thorough cleanings I've ever had. In fact, at a certain point it was relaxing. He polished both sides of all my teeth, rinsed me out, flossed all my teeth, then rinsed me out again, showed me the proper way to floss. [Gently guide the floss in between teeth, then make a "C" shape towards the outer tooth, scraping up and down three times, then lift floss out, and move to next tooth] All while taking a personal interest in me by asking questions i.e. how were the holidays, where was I from etc. Almost forgot he explained every step and was quite knowledgeable when I asked questions; he had in depth answers. #ThanksAgainManny!

Dr. Kim was the most helpful dentist I have seen in a long time. He took his time to go over my X-rays and answer all my questions. I can tell he truly cares about his work.

Please do not get dental work done here. There is no tranperancy in this establishement. When they reviewed my ex-rays they never told me I had a cracked tooth. They said my gum line was “recedeeing and that it would “heal on its own and after getting my teeth cleaned.” Upon several visits of wasting my time here they said they don’t take my insurance. I went to another dental office in Glendale and got it taken care of for $3900. DO NOT GET WORK DONE HERE! They don’t have enough experience in the dental industry to read basic x-ray exams! Not to mention they didn’t tell me about a cavity I had.
