Mid Wilshire Dental Care: Bijan Afar, DDS

I booked an appointment here for a periodontal visit as I'm losing bone. I waited 15 minutes for the assistant to see me. She took me to the 1st room to get an X-ray, but the X-ray machine was not working, so the assistant moved me to the 2nd room, where she could not get the computer to work. Terrible 1st impression, I've been there for 30 minutes, I'm getting frustrated now, and I've lost all confidence in this office and decided to walk away. I did not have a chance to meet the doctor. To my surprise, I was charged for a Comprehensive Oral Exam and a Comprehensive series of X-rays that my insurance paid!!!!! What a scam!!!!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Bijan Afar for several years now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received. So, I decided to go big and get veneers on 20 teeth, pretty much my whole smile, and Dr. Bijan Afar in LA made it worth every penny! He showed me this cool digital preview first, so I knew exactly what I’d get. The process was smooth, didn’t hurt a bit, and when he put those veneers on? Oh my gosh, I looked like a movie star! They’re so natural, no one can tell they’re not my real teeth. Dr. Afar’s a genius—5 stars, no question!

My dentist is truly amazing! His service is excellent, and he genuinely cares about the health of my teeth. I had composite work done over 3.5 years ago, and it still looks and feels as fresh as the first day, such high-quality work! He’s professional, gentle, and always takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. I’m very thankful for his care and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled dentist.

Dr. Afar has been my DDS for a little over 3 years now and I can honestly say he gives the best care I have ever received. He is patient and kind and always takes the necessary time to explain what needs to be done and to reassure you that everything can and will be fixed. He is also extremely talented at his job--I have undergone several oral surgeries with him without much pain at all and always with a great aesthetic result. I can honestly say he and the Wilshire Dental Group are the best there is. Highly recommend!
