Lunada Bay Dental Practice

Lunada Bay Dental is a place where you can walk in and feel safe. I don’t like going to the dentist and I usually dread cleanings, but from the moment I walk into the office, the staff makes me feel calm and cared for. Dr. Gong and his team are gentle, patient, and thoughtful through every step. I have had crowns redone and fillings completed here, and they always explain what they’re doing and check in to make sure I’m comfortable. I never feel rushed or pressured. I’m happy with my smile, and that means a lot to me. For the first time, I actually look forward to dental appointments because I know I’m in good hands.

While I absolutely dread and fear going to the dentist, Lunada Bay Dental has been the best dental experience I've had. Both Dr. Van and Dr. Gong really help calm my nerves and take all the necessary preventative measures to make me feel as comfortable as possible. My favorite parts about my last two visits were Dr. Van showing me potential areas where a cavity may form, so I could focus on cleaning those areas, and Dr. Gong showing me before-and-after photos of the work he did on my teeth. Whether it's an annual cleaning, a cavity fill, or a gum check, they a) really know what they're doing and b) make it the best experience possible (for it being a dentist appointment and all). The front staff (Manya and Lisa) and registered dental assistants (Martha) are amazing, too. Overall, a kind, respectful, and supportive office that, even after I moved away from RPV, I still drive 45 minutes to see. That should say a lot!

Lunada Bay Dental is staffed by outstanding professionals. Dr. Gong and Dr. Van are both exceptionally talented dentists with impeccable qualifications. The dental assistants and hygienists are also highly capable, polite and professional. The office is equipped with the latest high-tech dental equipment, including digital intraoral scanners which allow 3D imaging for immediate in-house CAD/CAM fabrication of crowns. Instead of waiting weeks, I was able to have my broken tooth repaired and go home with a perfectly-fitted new crown in a single visit. Amazing.

I can’t say enough good things about this dental practice. Everyone is amazing, from the receptionists to the doctors. Dr. Van and Dr. Gong are incredible. I had to stop coming for a while due to insurance, but after my insurance changed, I was able to come back and I am so happy I did. They are extremely honest, never push unnecessary treatments, and always take their time to explain everything and make me feel at ease. Appointments are always on time, which I really appreciate. I truly love this place and highly recommend it!

Could there be a better practice than Lunada Bay Dental? I don’t think so. Dr. Van is highly qualified, highly revered, integritous and such an amazing person. She’s honest, fourth right and provides amazing client services. The office is quiet and confident and the team is kind, considerate, and professional. My entire family sees Lunada Bay Dental, including my three teenagers.FYI, my husband used to see a different dentist on the hill until he decided to get a second opinion at Lunada Bay Dental, my dentist. Dr. Van is amazing and works from such a sound mind and clearly communicates the issue, the vision and the goal. I also love how she’s always interested in what’s going on with each family member and has a unique way of making every person feel special.
