Despite arriving an hour early for my first appointment to complete paperwork, I waited over an hour while patients who arrived after me were seen. When I asked, the explanation was unclear. The way my insurance plan was discussed made me feel like I was being treated differently because of the type of my dental plan. Rather than feeling that patient care was the priority, the dental plan and financial aspects were more important. My experience at Dr. Gordon Fong's office was frustrating, diminishing, and disappointing.

This is the best dental office I have EVER been to. The staff here is so kind, the hygienist's are calm and patient, the dentists are knowledgeable and do great work almost pain free. I could not recommend this place enough. If you are in the area this should be the only choice for you!

WARNING SCAMMERS MEDI CAL FRAUD If I can give this company a zero stars I would I was looking for a new dentist sometime earlier this year and I seen they had good reviews so I booked with them mind you I have Medi-Cal so I believe that’s why they took advantage of me. they insisted that I had all my wisdom teeth removed. The dentist got an attitude because I refused the services. I told him I just wanted my cleaning which I was due for one. He told me I did not need a cleaning and polished my teeth instead I went to another dentist for a cleaning and they told me that the last company had charged me for a cleaning already so I wasn’t able to get my cleaning for another six months please do not go here they are fraud. They lie and charge for services. They did not complete or they will lie and say you need work done that you don’t need just so they can make some money.

Have been going here for over 20 years - from chipped front tooth, root canal, molar crown, night guard, removal of amalgam fillings, impacted wisdom teeth, and most recently tooth whitening. The practice has grown and improved significantly over the past 20 years. Dr. Fong and on one occasion Dr. Teboul have been my primaries and they have been wonderful. From routine checkups to the occasionally needed procedure, I trust them and their staff to give honest evaluations and not pressure me for unnecessary work. For instance, recently a filling was partially missing and close to the edge of the tooth. Dr. Teboul warned that the damage may have compromised the tooth requiring a crown, but instead of just opting for the crown he attempted to save the tooth and was successful. Most recently I went in for tooth whitening and Ariana did an incredible job taking molds for the custom bleaching trays, prepping me by painstakingly masking my gums, and getting me through all four blue light treatments. She explained the entire process thoroughly and checked on me continuously to ensure I was okay (the procedure can cause sensitivity, I was fortunate to not have much). She met with me the following day to explain the used of the maintenance kit and whitening trays. The results were dramatic on day 1, see the photos. I love the staff at this practice and would highly recommend them for anyone needing a highly competent dental office. As for insurance, they explain all co-pays and out of pocket expenses up front so there are no surprises. They do want pre-payment for any services which some people may find awkward, but in this day and age I can’t fault them for that - I just bust their chops if they come to me in the dentist chair to swipe my card before an unexpected procedure.

This dentist office is great. Glad I found a place that makes so easy to fill out forms and I feel so comfortable. Staff are very nice and explains every in detail. Love that take CareCredit as well. Just had cleaning today. I am feel great!
