As a small business owner, I don’t like leaving bad reviews—but my experience with Larchmont Dental was very disheartening. I went in for a root canal that was supposed to take 60–90 minutes. Instead, it took three painful visits, hours of my time, and still wasn’t finished. I ended up going to another dentist to complete the job. I paid over $800 out of pocket and was never told my insurance didn't cover everything. Two years later, I got a call from a debt collector—with no proper notice. They claimed they sent a letter and called me, which they might have since I had moved. But they never used my email which I know they had on file. When I called to clear things up, I was met with coldness: “It’s out of our hands. Talk to collections.” Here’s why I’ll never go back: Extremely painful experience — worse than any other dental work I’ve had Misleading time estimates — a 60-minute procedure turned into three separate visits Poor communication — no upfront clarity about costs or insurance coverage Unprofessional billing practices — sent to collections without proper follow-up Lack of empathy or accountability — friendly only until something goes wrong Dental care should be built on trust, transparency, and compassion. I didn’t experience any of that here.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable at Larchmont DSC. I had a root canal done by Dr. Morim, and it was such a pleasant experience. I didn’t feel anything and my jaw was comfortable and not tired after the procedure was completed. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep several times, lol. If you ever need a dental specialist, I would highly recommend this practice.

Awesome visit and fantastic staff. Dr. Loo was wonderful and He took the time to answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed, only appreciated. Amanda, Brandy, Jessica and Daisy were amazing. Everyone worked together like a well oiled machine and made an effort to welcome all of their patients (new and old) by name. I truly appreciate how welcomed they made me feel. These women embody exceptional customer and interpersonal skills. I absolutely love this place

The office was clean and well-kept. The receptionist and staff were accommodating and helpful to the patient. Dr. Loo was very pleasant and ready to answer any question. I like that he explained the steps of the treatment during the process so the patient understands what is being done. The patient was made as comfortable as possible. I will not hesitate to recommend this center to my family or friends! 👍
