DTLA Smile

Red flag alert! I personally will never return to this establishment. I enjoyed the front desk customer service but I have some serious concerns about this dental practice. I was told I needed a deep cleaning in my gums and I’ve never had to do that at past dentists. I get regular cleanings and have zero concerns about my teeth. I don’t know if Dr. Park is deceitful in order to receive more insurance money or, perhaps, he’s not as well-trained as I believed. Not only was the deep cleaning extremely painful, the hygienist was clearly inexperienced. I was also there much longer than expected and had to cancel my other important plans. At my second appointment for an actual cleaning, a different hygienist was once again inexperienced. I had excess saliva everywhere and his hand wasn’t steady when it came to cleaning. I also don’t think the cleaning was thorough. I was also told the price I had to pay was less because I overpaid at my first visit. I DO NOT like this behavior. If you overcharge a patient, ask how they’d like to receive the money they overpaid. This behavior is very concerning and I suggest whoever does billing gets more training. The office is beautiful inside and I loved picking out music but those two options do not make up for the lack of experience. I would be overly cautious as a new patient. Especially if this place tells you all the extra things you need. I went to an old fashioned family practice and the dentist told me I actually didn’t need a deep clean and my gums are fine. Always get a second opinion and if something feels off, trust your gut.

I highly recommend DTLA Smile. I’ve been afraid of the dentist and kept neglecting my teeth because of so many horrible dentist experiences I’ve had in the past. Decide stop give them a try because it’s very close to my office and had great reviews. I’m very glad I did! Dr. Park is very friendly and you can tell he really cares about the job he does. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and they all seem to enjoy working there which is always a good sign. Another thing I love is they are super upfront about the price and go over it with you when scheduling and before a procedure. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed two months ago and my healing was such a breeze compared to all the stories I’ve heard from friends and family. I had no complications and almost no swelling after. I’ve also got some filings done and although that will never be a fun experience for me haha, DTLA Smile made it as easy as possible. I’m excited to have found them and continue on my smile with them!

Such a welcoming office and great team! Front desk Megan was so accommodating and I’m very grateful they were able to fit in my husband and I at the same time and allowed our 9 month old to run rampant in their lobby while mommy and daddy took turns in the dentist chair. Truly a bespoke experience with a team that felt homey and genuinely kind, not the “fake nice” that professionalism imposes. Glad I found this practice! Thank you guys!

I've been seeing Dr. Park for over a year, and I can't recommend him enough! The entire staff is incredibly friendly and professional, making each visit comfortable and stress-free. Dr. Park is highly skilled and always takes the time to explain every procedure thoroughly, ensuring I feel at ease. The office is modern, spotless, and equipped with the latest technology, making treatments quick and painless. From cleanings to fillings, I've been consistently impressed with the results. DTLA Smile for the win! I came in as a new patient a week ago because a coworker referred this place. I’ve had a deep cleaning and a root canal thus far and so far so good! I have nothing but good things to say :) First of all, there are no wait times (if you have an apt, obvi), the place is clean and has a calming vibe, I LOVE the team, and they have free parking. I have dental phobia and DTLA Smile has taken good care of my teeth with zero pain! Dr. Park and his team are excellent. He is by far the most honest and straightforward dentist I’ve come across. I find it hard to find a trusty denstist in LA, but Dr. Park is clear and thorough. The DTLA Smile team is so nice and attentive. They have a light-hearted, family feel in the office. The prices are relatively affordable and I have insurance. The services are easy PAIN FREE. I hate needles, I hate drilling sounds, I hate feeling pressure- but I’m so impressed by how painless it is here! I didn’t feel anything compared to so many painful ones. A cleaning I once had elsewhere was more painful than a root canal here. Dr. Park and his hygienist does an amazing job numbing you and performing procedures. My root canal was surprisingly pleasant.They do not have laughing gas, but prescribed me a light sedative for my nerves which helped tremendously. They will have a blanket for you and a screen that has a bunch of streaming services to watch which is super cool! The team made sure I was 100% comfortable and managed stress and pain the entire time. After my procedure, I was given instructions-and I went home and fell asleep for about 4hrs. I woke up feeling fine with no pain or soreness so far. I had soft foots and still zero pain. :’) It’s truly a dentist miracle! Thank you and keep up the great work!
