I’m just leaving from my new patient first exam, and the care was INCREDIBLE. Full exam plus an excellent cleaning from an excellent hygienist! Paid really close attention, took his time, went back to clean spots that needed it. Dr. Joyce was very professional and clear and it’s the first time I’ve tried a dentist in LA that didn’t try to convince me that I have cavities. Highly recommend. Office is clean, well staffed and professional.

I’ve had the worst dental experience with dentist Joyce Chung. I had a tiny little chip on my tooth so I went to her and asked her to put a filling on my tooth to prevent a root canal. She refused to do so and pushed me to get a crown instead (I bet because it cost 10 times more than a filling). She checked my insurance and said my crown wasn’t accepted until the year is over which was another 2 months. So she put a filling on my tooth and had me come back in 2 months for the crown, of course I had to pay for that filling. My tooth was perfectly fine with that filling and I should’ve just kept it that way, but I kept my words to come back in 2 months for the crown. As she was grinding my tooth I felt a really sharp pain and that’s when I knew she hit my nerve and caused me a root canal which I was afraid of and came to her to prevent in the first place. I told her it hurt me but she still put a crown on it. My pain was severe for a few days so she referred me to a specialist to get a root canal done. I asked the specialist and another dentist for their opinions and they both said she should have left my tooth alone. Horrible experience with her. She messed up my tooth badly. I paid her lots of money for both filling and the crown and she sold me on a retainer for another $500, and she messed up my tooth badly. She pocketed over $2000 for messing up my tooth. I made a bad mistake for coming to see her.

Dr. Joyce is amazing. It was my first time as a patient and she made me feel like an old friend. The staff is kind and respectful. Everyone made me feel at home. No pain. No pressure. Just a great office visit!

Simply put Dr Joyce and team are amazing. Dr Joyce has a very thorough approach and really takes time to get to know patients. Every visit (even if uneventful cleaning) I have she comes by to say hello and take a look at my teeth. The personalized care is top notch. I have also had crowns and fillings done all of which were done expertly, look really great and done at affordable prices. It is rare to find a Dr that cares so much and provides such good treatment and care!
