It has been a few weeks since completing my treatment by Dr. Bob Perkins, and needless to say, it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. As a summary, I healed my TMJ, improved my airway, and advanced my jaw with his revolutionary bite-changing methodology; whilst completely transforming my smile with 10 porcelain veneers on my upper teeth. I have been dealing with TMJ flare ups for the past few years that result in really bad pain on my left jaw, occasionally causing it to lock up. I was assessed by a dentist from my local city, who then referred me to a dental surgeon with the recommendation of receiving double-jaw surgery for my overbite, TMJ, and airway obstruction. Feeling like it was too invasive, I started looking for options online, and then found Dr. Bob Perkins. I became instantly hooked with his methodology and expertise. Soon after, I was flying out to Malibu, California to conduct Phase 1 of treatment. Right after Phase 1, the change was immediate. Overbite was gone. Pain and tightness gone. Facial harmony instantly improved. I thought I had seen the best of it. After a few weeks, once the bite change was finalized and the perfect position was identified, we solidified it by placing in the veneers, and the rest was history. I had teeth that were invisible when speaking, hardly seen when smiling, short due to grinding, and absent of the beautiful white shine we see in Hollywood movies. I was afraid of veneers because of the “fake” look I seen online from various other dentists, but these teeth look like I grew them out myself. Sometimes I stare at them in awe of how natural they look. My friends noticed the transformation but couldn’t identify what I had done, that’s how natural they are. The biggest downside of the whole experience is the fact I waited 23 years to have this done. What Dr. Perkins performed was nothing short of magic, the man is an artist. My face harmonized, jawline sharpened, airway expanded, TMJ healed, and finally have the million dollar smile I’ve always wanted… the way I look, talk, and even how I pronounce my words have all changed for the better. I upgraded my life in the blink of an eye, and would do it all over again if I had to. So much confidence in his work that I am currently saving up to return for my bottom veneers, to finish the job. 10/10 highly recommend.
