Digital Smiles - Palos Verdes

I just moved to the area and found Digital Smiles through google. Everyone was very friendly. Dana did a great job on my cleaning. The only problem I have is that I asked for a basic cleaning when I made the appointment. Before the cleaning started I was told it would be $130. When I mentioned that I’ve never paid for a cleaning as this is preventative care so it should be covered under insurance I was told insurance does not usually cover the entire cost. I know this isn’t true because I’ve never paid for a basic cleaning. When I contacted my insurance the next day as well as digital smiles to get more information as to why a basic cleaning was $130 I was informed that I had paid for a deep cleaning. Dana truly did a great job, but I don’t appreciate being given a service different from what I requested without clear communication. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I probably won’t return, as I no longer feel confident that I’m being properly informed about treatments and costs.

I am taking a few minutes to pass along a very positive experience i had with Dr Soliman. I needed 2 upper front crowns to replace 2 that were about 20 years old. I was hesitant at first but, Dr S took the time to listen to my concerns and fears. He walked me through my options and help me carefully plan the replacement of my 2 front crowns. Dr Soliman took all the time needed to ensure they were placed properly and looked perfect, exceeding my expectations. Thank you Dr S! Five stars!

I am so SATISFIED AND HAPPY with my first cleaning on Jan. 20,2026. She was so informative & gental! Never had a hygienist all my years like this. I recommend this Facility to someone looking for sincere care. And Rachel is really efficient & down to earth.

As teeth is a very important part of our health. I will say this. STAY AWAY! Worst Dr and experience ever. First of all, the office is so understaffed. My appt was at 4pm. Dentist Soliman came in at 5:40 to see me. He came in with sleepy, unmotivated eyes. He spent only 10 mins with me saying I need to put in crowns, I’ve been to 3 different dentists and nobody has ever told me I had to get replacements done like that! He says he likes to “overestimate” 🚩 Also, I told him I booked this appt as a dental cleaning online. He says “I’m not the owner, idk the schedules for hygienist” ok rude? He says he will check and ask but he ignores that and proceeds to go to the next patient (my husband) without asking anyone to help me. Then I tell the staff. The staff proceeds to tell me there was no cleaning scheduled for me due to the front office’s mistake. I waited 2 hrs for literally NOTHING, ruined my whole days schedule! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE AT ALL!! Not because of the staff and their mistake but the dentist himself seemed uneducated and not skilled enough and just wanted to get more procedures done to make money.

The team is truly exceptional. Rachel, with her warm welcome and attentive follow-up, sets the tone for a pleasant experience. Crystal makes x-rays a breeze, and Tia’s meticulous attention to detail is excellent. Dayna, in particular, is the best on the peninsula for her thorough and thoughtful approach to dental hygiene (and the reason I’ve been a loyal patient since 2103). Martha also provides valuable information about insurance options. And let’s not forget Doc’s gentle and humorous demeanor, making the entire dental visit enjoyable…even when having to get necessary work done!
