Irresponsible, unreliable and unprofessional. They changed my appointment of the surgeon consultation last minute. Even with that, I had to wait there for 30 minutes being told that they had no clue when the surgeon would be available. "You can wait or you can leave." If you are unsure of the schedule you shouldn't even book your clients in. Everyone's time is valuable. On top of that, the charges were never upfront or transparent. I guess they also don't care 'cuz they have a lot of UCLA students who go there for the convenience.
unresponsive front desk after multiple calls + emails, i’ve had to reschedule twice because the doctor keeps canceling randomly— my invisalign treatment has been delayed a cumulative of 6 months because of this office’s lack of reliability. i’ve been waiting a month to simply pick up my last set of invisalign trays
Avoid Dr Stone! I would not trust Dr. Stone. After four sessions, she still couldn’t properly fit a crown. That means I had to endure four rounds of numbing injections and drilling—at this point, I’m not even sure if my tooth still exists. Every time, she blamed the lab instead of taking responsibility. On top of that, she avoids talking to patients directly, leaving everything to her assistant instead of being present for those under her care. I expected better from UCLA dentists, but every experience leaves me more disappointed. UPDATE: I want to update my previous review and give a big thank you to the clinic manager, Austin, for personally stepping in and making sure I was taken care of. He really listened to my concerns and went out of his way to fix things, which I truly appreciate. He introduced me to Dr. Gina, and honestly, she was amazing—so kind, skilled, and really made me feel comfortable. She fixed my crown perfectly and made the whole experience so much better. I’m so relieved and happy now. I highly recommend Dr. Gina to everyone—she’s truly the best! Thanks again to the whole team for turning things around and showing they genuinely care.
I haven't had a cleaning here yet, but I've already had a horrible experience. I booked an appointment for a new patient exam a month out because they were so busy. After the exam, you can get booked for an actual cleaning, so for new patients you have to wait more than a month for a cleaning. The day before my new patient exam, I hadn't received any reminders which I thought was strange, so I called them. They had absolutely no record of me being booked, despite the fact that I received a text confirmation immediately after I made my appointment a month ago. They did try to rebook me for the following week, but it's stupid that they can lose an appointment in their system. It's also very difficult to get a hold of the office. It consistently takes me 2-3 calls to actually be able to talk to someone. All calls are routed to some central Campus Smiles office NOT the UCLA office, which makes things even more difficult. The person who helped me was very nice and apologetic, but the whole system seems poorly run. Their services are not cheaper than other offices, so given the absurd wait time for appointments, there's absolutely no good reason to come here over any other office.
I had a deep cleaning with Monica- she made me feel super at ease and did a great job getting me fully numb and routinely checking in on how I was doing. I have some anxiety around dentist appointments and would highly recommend her if you are in the same boat. My reason for 4 stars is because the organization at the front desk was not ideal- I was early for my appointment (and had filled out all forms online) and still wasn't called back for the appointment until about 15 minutes past my appointment time. After the appointment, I had to wait 30 minutes for the staff to finish their meeting before someone could get me checked out and scheduled for my next appointment. They also only had one computer system available for payments so a few of us had to wait to be processed at the one window.
