I have never enjoyed going to the dentist. Under-experienced and overconfident dentists in the past have left me frustrated and generally avoidant of dentists. A chronic abscess I had from a previous root canal brought me to Dr. Rostami at Brentwood Dental Group on San Vicente, and from that, I have made Brentwood Dental Group my home for oral care. To say I’ve been satisfied with my care there between him and Feri would be an understatement. Here’s why: Dr. Rostami takes the time with each patient to explain everything in depth and answer any questions I have. I have never felt rushed, and have always left feeling more knowledgeable in what’s going on, and confident in making the right decision. Something I have personally been frustrated about when it comes to dentistry, is it seems like there’s always “something” - re-doing a filling, another one and etc. I had been told by every dentist I have seen that I have TMJ in the past but it didn’t seem like an issue, to them OR to me as I didn’t believe that I grind and clench my teeth / jaw. Dr Rostami is a true expert when it comes to TMJ (and dentistry, period). For the first time, I understand how damaging untreated TMJ like mine has been on my teeth. He created a guard that protects my teeth and with it, balanced my jaw to distribute pressure equally/ proportionally throughout my bite and uses laser therapy. I was skeptical, but when I started wearing it and going through treatments, I noticed a huge difference almost immediately. My jaw doesn’t click anymore, my headaches are gone, my jaw muscles are not as bulky / it had a surprising positive effect aesthetically on my face. And you can see all the dents in the guard from clenching my jaw, which would have just been more damage to my teeth! My experiences at Dr Rostami’s office are are all positive, and I feel like I am on a “team” with them. It is a special thing to say you’re “looking forward” to going to the dentist — but when you’re enjoying your time, learning a lot and being taught how to apply the knowledge to your dental care, are pain free, and feel like your dentist team cares, going to the dentist, or rather THIS dentist, is enjoyable! Dr. Rostami and Feri at Brentwood Dental Group, make me feel confident and taken care of. 100% recommend.

Dr. Rostami is the most efficient dentist I’ve been lucky to find. I have only had horrible experiences throughout my life with dentists and dental hygienists. But the comfort he brings to my appointment and educational tips he gives me, especially with my everyday routines, are well worth a visit. I genuinely look forward to my cleanings throughout the year.

I have lived in multiple countries and cities and tried all kinds of deep cleanings by various dentists. None of them compared to the experience that I had at this office. Dr. Rostami has done the most amazing job with my deep cleaning. My teeth usually have a lot of build-ups. Dr. Rostami is very thorough and did not miss anything like most doctors usually does. My breath is much improved and my gums feel relieved. You should visit him for your deep cleaning needs or really any other dental work. He has a gentle touch and is very knowledgeable and fair. Doesn't charge you for dental work that is not needed.

Dr. Rostami is a fantastic dentist. He's funny, explains everything he's needs to do, and make sure I'm comfortable the every time. His office is a nice, clean, and in a convenient neighborhood. The admin staff is very helpful over the phone and friendly in person. He's always been on time and I've never needed to wait more than a few minutes to see him.

Dr. Rostami is an extremely skillful and experienced dentist with highest academic and professional credentials. I have been his patient for the past 20+ years and could not be happier with the dental care I have received from him. He and his staff are friendly, caring and pleasant. His office has state-of-the-art equipment. He is a very honest and fair dentist who only recommends treatments that are really needed.
